When she flew north

You got on the train and we said our goodbyes, I didn’t let you see the tear in my eyes.

I don’t why you suddenly had fly away, always hoping you would come back this way.

Twenty years later you made your Hello’s, thinking I may fly north and follow you so.

But to much has happened since then and now, I could not even begin to tell you all of the how’s.

You said you wondered on different choices, buy that’s just echoes of our long distant voices

So I leave you again by the side of road, sorry but to long you let my heart grow cold.
